Small Business Month
The Chamber is committed to providing meaningful programming and resources to small businesses in every stage of development. We have dedicated the entire month of April to education and engagement.
Here's How We're Helping Small Businesses Grow:
- Podcast Learning: Access on-demand education through our podcast series, covering essential business topics such as marketing, finance, operations and much more.
- Visual Business Insights: Learn from successful local leaders through our video series, gaining practical tips and strategies you can implement in your business.
- Focused Learning Luncheon: Dive deeper into specific business topics with our expert-led luncheon, providing valuable insights and actionable takeaways.
- Shop Small Business Weekend: Make a direct impact on Ruston Lincoln Parish, by choosing to eat and shop small in our special Shop Small Weekend.Â
- Networking & Knowledge Sharing: Participate in our small business meet-up to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and build a supportive network.
Invest in your business's future and the future of Ruston Lincoln Parish during Small Business Month.

Chamber members and community partners alike are able to interact with weekly video posts featuring local business leaders who will share business building tips and insights. Along with the videos, we are partnering with Origin Bank to bring five podcasts during the month. These podcasts will feature local business owners and professional advice from the College of Business at Louisiana Tech University.
In addition to the podcasts, Coretechs will be hosting a Cyber Threats and Legal Liabilities Luncheon on Thursday, April 24 for members and community partners. With featured speaker, Sarah Anderson, cyber security attorney and SWA Law, this luncheon is geared towards business owners and decision makers. To learn more about Anderson, click here.

We are partnering with Experience Ruston and Downton Ruston to introduce Shop Small Business Weekend. During the weekend of April 25 and 26 remember to eat and shop local. This is an opportunity to engage with the community and ensure small business growth and development.
Finally, a Small Business Meet Up is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 for local entrepreneurs and small business owners to network with peers and hear directly from the leaders who were featured in the small business leader spotlight videos.
