Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Hosts Capitol Chats with U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy
Ruston, LA – The Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce hosted a Capitol Chats event with U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Davison Athletics Complex on Louisiana Tech’s campus. The event was sponsored by Weyerhaeuser. Senator Cassidy addressed business leaders from Lincoln Parish, providing updates on initiatives impacting our community.
Following the event, Senator Cassidy met with executives from businesses who have invested in the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber with a presidential-level membership and above.
“We always enjoy hosting Senator Cassidy and want to thank him for providing such an engaging update to our business community,” said Thomas Graham, chair of the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. “We are grateful to Senator Cassidy for his steadfast leadership in Washington, D.C., and for representing our interests in North Louisiana.”
The event featured a question-and-answer session with Senator Cassidy moderated by William Dearmon, President and CEO of the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber. Senator Cassidy discussed issues affecting North Louisiana, infrastructure investments and the state of our national politics.
